The Two Time All Star Al Horford out for several months with shoulder injury

Atlanta’s spirits took a huge dent, when the team and the fans learnt of Horford’s injury. The All Star center met with an injury that puts him on the bench for at least a couple of months. The Atlanta Hawks center Al Horford met with a gruesome shoulder injury that does seem quite ominous with the doctors’ initial verdict coming in. The doctors feel that given the state his shoulder is in, and the nature of the injury and its healing time, complete recovery would take around three months.  Read more [...]

Lakers clinch victory in Overtime

Andrew Bynum had a great outing the second time Lakers played Jazz this season. His absence the first time was made up by a scintillating performance last Wednesday. He blocked five shots, one of which happened to be a game saver. With just 1.9 seconds remaining on the clock, Al Jefferson tried making a short jump, but his maneuver was cut short by Bynum’s timely block winning them a 90-87 victory. Lakers beat Grizzlies

Los Angeles Lakers had another strong outing and their top gun Kobe Bryant fired all cylinders on the court. The LA Lakers were able to beat Memphis Grizzlies 90-82. But the Lakers were not at their best, since they had (quite a few times) turned the ball over, about 27 times. Despite that, the Lakers managed to get 40 rebounds and accumulated 43 points from double doubles by Pau Gasol, Matt Barnes and Andrew Bynum.
