NBA Lockout News In October & What Caused The Lock Out

The latest meeting regarding the NBA lockout held on Octobter 1st was adjourned with no progress to secure the start of the regular season.  Although nothing solid has come out of the meetings, both sides have agreed to push through the entire weekend to reach a resolution.  Close sources say that there were tense moments between Dwayne Wade of the Miami Heat and commissioner David Stern during the meeting. Kobe Bryant To Play For Italy During NBA Lockout

American basketball star Kobe Bryant may be playing in Italy as a result of the continuing NBA lockout. The Virtus Bologna is the Italian basketball team that has been in talks with Kobe. Kobe won't be playing for a full season in Italy. The deal that they are working on is for 10 games.
