No pun was intended in the title of this post. The NBA lockout is going to either end or the season will end by 5:00 PM (ET) on Wednesday. All November NBA Games Canceled – NBA Lockout Day 120
The 2011 / 2012 NBA basketball lockout has turned into a game of chicken. The owners and the players union are speeding towards each other doing 200 miles per hour and there can be only two outcomes. The first is one of the parties swerving off of the road. The NBA lock out has turned into a gamble and neither side appears willing to be the first to cut their losses and capitulate. NBA Lockout Talks Collapse – More Games Cancelled
The latest NBA lockout news is grim. Talks collapsed today amidst petty allegations and the Federal mediator George Cohen was powerless to prevent it. NBA players stormed out of the talks and there are no more talks currently scheduled. The players' union claims that the owners essentially said that they would only accept a 50:50 split.
